Dr. Frank Lipman is a world-renowned physician with a specialty in integrative and functional medicine, with a great emphasis on longevity, preventive health care, and the well-being of the entire body. His personal practice is under Eleven Eleven Wellness Center, a clinic that he established in 1992. The center was one of the first in the US to integrate Western medicine with Eastern and alternative treatments and provides treatment regimes that are personalized and embrace nutrition, lifestyle modifications, supplements, and advanced diagnostic testing. He practices with patients in person and also by telehealth and is keen on long-term health optimization, as opposed to treating patients in accordance with symptoms.

Dr. Lipman is the founder and director of his wellness center and also the former chief medical officer of the Well, a health and wellness organization in New York. His efforts also venture into advisory services for various health-oriented organizations, where he provides input on the prevention models and longevity programs. He developed his training to incorporate acupuncture, Chinese medicine, nutrition, herbal medicine, and mind-body practices, and this imprinted his integrative approach to treatment.

Having over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Lipman has worked with thousands of patients and has come up with a model of medicine that he calls Good Medicine, which aims at removing the root causes of illness instead of simply treating symptoms. His work focuses on preventive care, longevity science, and the individualized health approaches that focus on enhancing energy, resilience, and well-being.

He is the writer of New York Times bestseller books on health and wellness, as well as How to Be Well, The New Rules of Aging Well, and Total Renewal. The content of his publications relates to practical lifestyle modifications and nutrition as well as long-term health maintenance.

One of the most common values he has stated is a representation of his philosophy on forming routine and health-related habits: “It is the things we do in our everyday lives that have an extraordinary impact on our health.”

His career has integrated a combination of a private clinical practice, integrative medicine innovation, authorship, and the leadership of wellness, always being focused on the overall health enhancement through personalized and preventative care.
