Dr. Catherine Otto is a highly respected cardiologist specializing in echocardiography and valvular heart disease as well as inherited cardiovascular diseases like Marfan syndrome and aortic disorders. She works at the University of Washington Medical Center, the Heart Institute of the UW Medical Center in Seattle. She treats complicated heart valve patients, conducting diagnostic tests including echocardiography and stress tests, and also provides long-term heart care.

She is in a number of high-profile positions, which include Endowed Chair in Cardiology, J. Ward Kennedy-Hamilton, as well as Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
