Lucid Motors was established in 2007, initially as a battery tech firm, and later on, took the road to electric vehicle production. Peter Rawlinson, the CEO and CTIO, got the company he led to revolve around prowess in engineering, upscaling efficiency, and making electric cars mostly for the rich.
Lucid’s Air, its first production vehicle, came on the scene as a top electric sedan, boasting among its attributes a very long driving range, very quick charging, and an interior that is very well designed. The Air series is made up of several trims that give a mix of performance, comfort, and sophistication in driver-assistance features. Lucid does the designing of the powertrain and battery systems in such a way that energy efficiency is at its peak.
The factory is situated in Casa Grande, Arizona, where they produce vehicles at their advanced manufacturing plant. Lucid keeps on increasing the amount of production it can handle while at the same time working on future models like the Lucid Gravity SUV.
