EP Group, trading as Euro Packaging, was founded in 1974 and has remained privately owned and family-run ever since, now operating for more than 50 years. Headquartered in Birmingham at Brickfield Road, it has grown into a uniquely integrated operation spanning manufacturing, sourcing, and distribution under one roof, rather than just one piece of the supply chain.

The company manufactures and sources more than 3,000 packaging consumables, calling on in-house production, procurement, and logistics expertise spread across Europe, Asia, and the Far East. The range covers carrier bags, food packaging, windowed paper bags, dessert boxes, disposable and reusable party and tableware, cleaning cloths, films and food wraps, tapes, mailing bags, industrial and janitorial packaging, and automotive products, with a research and development team also building bespoke solutions for customers with more specific needs.

Scale is a big part of how EP Group positions itself. The company moves up to 1,300 pallets of product every day, roughly 600 truckloads a month, out to customers in more than 20 countries, employing over 1,000 people worldwide. Financially, the business generates revenue north of £160 million, with 2022 figures showing £159.9 million in revenue, £34.7 million in gross profit and £5.8 million EBIT.

EP Group describes its own role as managing the consumables supply chain so retailers don’t have to, positioning itself as a single trusted partner rather than one of several suppliers a business has to juggle. That pitch, combined with staying family-owned across five decades, is central to how the company presents itself, half a century after it started out in 1974.
