Purus Life

Purus Life operates across the UK, trading under the registered name Purple London Ltd, and the business is built around a fairly specific gap in the market: premium office furniture that doesn’t come with a premium price tag attached. Height-adjustable desks sit at the center of what they do, alongside ergonomic chairs, storage, monitor arms, lighting, and wrist supports, the kind of full workspace setup a business might need rather than a single hero product.

The customer base splits a few different ways. There’s the home office buyer furnishing a single desk, but also small and medium businesses, corporate offices, interior designers, architects, fit-out contractors, property developers, and serviced office operators, enough range that Purus Life runs a proper trade side of the business, with account management, volume discounts, and tailored quotes for anyone ordering at scale.

Sit-stand desks get particular attention in how the brand talks about itself, framed less as a design trend and more as a well-being decision, the idea being that letting people move between sitting and standing through the day cuts down on the health downsides of being stationary for eight hours straight. That’s paired with a fairly deliberate three-part pitch: design, wellbeing, and value, sitting alongside each other rather than one getting sacrificed for the others.

On the sourcing side, Purus Life works directly with manufacturers rather than going through layers of middlemen, which is how they say they keep prices down without cutting into build quality. Delivery is UK-based with next-day options for bulk orders, Klarna is available for installment payments, and there’s a dedicated customer service team handling aftercare.

There’s no public founding story here, no year, no name attached to who started it, just a company positioning itself as a long-term supplier for anyone building out a workspace, from a single desk to a full commercial fit-out.
