Trusted international courier and white glove logistics partner to industry-leading brands
AmWorld began in 1983 as a domestic courier service in the UK, and over more than 35 years it’s grown from that single-service starting point into a white-glove logistics partner working across international courier, warehousing, freight forwarding, event logistics, mailing, and IT asset management. The company is privately owned, based in Colnbrook, Berkshire, with additional sites at the Riverside Cargo Centre and in Southampton, and it describes its philosophy as professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency, built around clear communication and a personal, single-point-of-contact relationship with every client.
That approach has carried the company into some recognizable territory; AmWorld counts Sony Interactive Entertainment, Jimmy Choo, and EA Sports among the brands it works with, serving sectors from gaming and entertainment to technology, finance, marketing, retail, and fine art logistics.
The most significant recent development came in 2026, when Crossflight joined the AmWorld Group. CEO Ian Bolton framed the move as being about fit rather than scale, bringing together two businesses built on similar standards of accountability and service. Crossflight’s joint managing directors, Suzanne Darlington and Ben Morgan, echoed that, both pointing to a shared approach between the teams as what made the integration straightforward. Together, the expanded group now offers international and domestic courier services, road, sea, and air freight, TAPA-certified warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, mailing, event and project logistics, IT asset management, art logistics, same-day delivery, air charter, and certified destruction, all delivered, the company says, through the same single point of contact clients already know.
Sustainability has also become part of AmWorld’s stated direction, with commitments around reducing its carbon footprint, cutting plastic use, planting trees, and investing in electric vehicles. More than four decades after starting out as a domestic courier, the company’s stated ambition is now to become the world’s number one international courier and white-glove logistics partner.
