Dunster Business School (DBS) is based in Switzerland and is a global private education provider, with its campus located in Etoy, close to Lake Geneva and about 30 minutes from Geneva itself. It is licensed to operate as a higher education institution in the Canton of Zug, under Legal License No. CHE-206.619.191. DBS describes its identity through the phrase “Swiss Made Education,” which reflects values such as precision, integrity, and innovation, blending academic theory with practical experience for students aiming at leadership roles in business.

Turning to what’s on offer, DBS teaches through several schools, namely the School of Business and Management, the School of Information Technology, the School of Languages, the School of Humanities, and the School of Paramedical Sciences. Its programs span diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, doctorates, short courses, and language studies. On the doctoral side alone, the list is fairly long, including a Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Business Administration, Doctorate in Arts, Commerce, Education, Psychology, Science, Computer Science, and International Relations. The school further offers dual qualifications, pairing degrees like the BBA, B.Com, MBA, and M.Com with ACCA, giving students a professional accounting credential alongside their degree.

Moving to delivery, DBS runs its teaching through a mix of virtual classrooms, recorded sessions, and an ERP-based system called the 100X Suite, which handles enrollment, self-learning, tutoring, and scholarships in one place. The school also mentions virtual reality tools as part of its tech setup. Alongside this, it runs a Multi City Masters and Multi City MBA format, where learners travel to different business hubs as part of their study.

When it comes to recognition, Dunster Business School holds accreditation from different bodies, including QS, EAHEA, QAHE, ACBSP, and AAEFL. Of these, QAHE has awarded the school full accreditation, covering areas such as academic rigour, governance, teaching quality, and student support. EAHEA has also accredited the school, along with issuing it a separate quality certification, both tied to curriculum design, faculty expertise, and student outcomes. As for QS and ACBSP, the school has a candidacy status right now. It holds a 4-Star Rating from QS Quacquarelli Symonds and Candidate for Accreditation status from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), a body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the USA. The school also lists membership in AACSB’s Business Education Alliance, which is a broader engagement tier.

DBS positions itself within a larger network called Dunster Global Education Corporation (DGEC), which also includes London School Business & Science, Paris School of Business & Science, the Florida Institute of Science & Management, and Dunster Institute of Science & Management in Malta, giving the group a presence across Switzerland, the UK, France, the US, and Malta. It also functions as part of the Swiss private education model, distinct from state-run public universities. It states that private business schools like DBS run smaller class sizes, without government subsidies, and rely on faculty who combine teaching with real industry experience. Legally classified as a Business School, DBS operates with institutional autonomy, outside the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA), letting it confer private degrees from bachelor’s to doctoral level.
