Cinta Salon is a hair and beauty salon located near Union Square in San Francisco, California, that operates as an independent salon. Opened in 1991 by owner and stylist Cinta Gibbons, who has over 20 years of professional experience. Cinta Salon has developed a business around quality hair services, and its hair stylists are of varying experience levels, and so is its service pricing.

The salon offers women’s and men’s haircuts, styling, blow-dry, updos, hair coloring, and highlights and balayage. It has a vibrant color palette of surface, partial, or full highlights and can be used with highlights or balayage in conjunction with color. Cinta Salon also offers smoothing treatments, creative color, bleach and tone, specialty blonding, and permanent waves. Bridal updos and specialty color consultations are also available.

Cinta Salon also offers beauty services outside hair care, such as skin care, eyelashes, nails, and body care services. It has a team of stylists who specialize in textured cuts, hand-painted balayage, precision cuts, color and smoothing treatments. The salon uses professional salon brands like Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, and Kérastase.

The company also offers home hair color maintenance. Its stylists can create exactly the right color tint for a client to use at home and can have the product delivered from the salon. Additionally, Cinta Salon operates a hair modeling program that allows licensed trainees to execute specific haircuts and color services in the studio under the guidance of the senior stylists, and provide their clients with less expensive services in exchange for the opportunity to learn from the licensed stylists.

Cinta Salon has been featured in Elle, Allure, and 7×7 San Francisco. It was recently named one of America’s Top 100 salons by Elle magazine in 2015.  Allure has also included it in the San Francisco beauty roundup.
